From Bradley, Room 8 in New Zealand

Math Riddles-- undone.

8 men and 2 boys need to cross a river. They have a canoe which cannot carry more than 1 man or 2 boys at one time. How many river crossings does it take to get everyone across?

Mr. Chamberlain's daughter uses manipulatives to solve the problem-- although I think there may have been a calculation error in her final answer :/ Great demonstration on how to visualize it though!
